Born & Raised in Chicago,

I have always had a love for my home city of Chi-town. Growing up here has had a profound impact on my journey to become a filmmaker. Living in a city steeped in culture and traditions has allowed me to develop an appreciation for the finer intricacies of crafting narratives that not only aim to tell a story, but to inform, impact, and change the audience. Now that I am 18, and attending a leading film school here at DePaul University, I have begun the higher education journey to allow me to make films, and tell stories just like the ones I grew up hearing in my own communities.

At DePaul, I am pursuing a BFA (Bachelor’s of Fine Arts) in Cinematography. My time here at DePaul has already emboldened me to take my skills to new heights and be apart of a variety of projects, including my new YouTube Channel, Sonaris, which is an educational channel that covers a range of topics through Documentaries, Video Essays, & Short form informational content.

This is only the beginning of my journey, and this digital portfolio will aim to work in every step that I take in my educational and professional journeys.
